Capital Aviation Instruments and Avionics is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization serving the General, Business and Regional Aviation communities. Located on the field at Manassas Regional Airport, our objective is to become the premier installation and service center in the Middle Atlantic region. Our new, state-of-the-art facility is currently under construction and slated for occupancy in December.

We have the following immediate openings on our technical staff. Experience is preferred or required depending on the position. Business and Regional transport aircraft experience is highly desirable.

Avionics Bench Technicians

Duties: Perform test, alignment, trouble diagnosis and repair of general and regional aviation components and systems in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and approved procedures and standards.

Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of an appropriate, formal technical training program or equivalent experience. Demonstrated knowledge of radio frequency systems theory, circuits and architectures. Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical manuals. Familiarity with test and calibration equipment and procedures.

General aviation experience, repairman certificate or FCC radiotelephone permit or operator's license a plus. Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Instrument Bench Technicians

Duties: Perform test, trouble diagnosis, repair and overhaul of general and regional aviation aircraft flight and other instruments in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and approved procedures and standards.

Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of an appropriate, formal technical training program or relevant experience. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and functional diagrams. Experience with or aptitude to learn performing precision work on small, delicate mechanisms to close tolerances. Experience with or aptitude to learn test procedures for various types of instruments.

Aviation, medical or industrial instrumentation experience a plus. Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
