2016 EAA AirVentures Oshkosh Schedule Announced

The annual EAA AirVentures is thought by many to be the “must-attend” aviation fly-in exhibition with non stop entertainment, aviation related exhibits, spectacular flying demonstrations and educational seminars attended by almost a half a million aviation enthusiasts every year.

This year promises to be no exception. Scheduled from July 24 through July 31, this years schedule is packed with memorable events and the schedule has been released on the EAA website.

Highlights of the show include flying demonstrations by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Team Aerostar, musical entertainment by Third Eye Blind and Bell47 helicopter rides.

Top aviation related schools will be represented including: Western Michigan University, Vaughn College, Utah State University, University of North Dakota, Purdue and Embry Riddle. Of course, the Young Eagles will be present with the stated goal of flying the 2 millionth young person in a sponsored Young Eagle Aircraft during this years event.

Pilots flying into the busy Whitman Regional Airport are strongly encouraged to become familiar with airport procedures and can download the current NOTAM here.
